Playa Del Amor is the perfect place to take a spouse or significant other for a romantic day on the beach. The name even means "The Beach of Love". It's easy to find right by the Land's End rock formation. You can get there by ferry from the nearby shore. Once there, it's a great place to relax and awe at the sights. Be warned that the currents can get dangerously strong on the Pacific side of the beach. Spend the entire relaxing day there. It is popular, so go early in the morning or late at night when other people won't be there. Luckily, the location is always open to the public, so it's free!

Dolphins are some of the most intelligent animals on our planet. They are also one of the most attractive and majestic creatures. Luckily, you can swim with dolphins in several locations in the area!  You may even get to feed the dolphins and watch them interact with each other. The dolphins live in a comfortable, confined location that guarantees plenty of interaction during your visit, and the dolphins are trained to swim safely around humans. Informed guides help you learn about the animals throughout the process. This activity usually lasts about an hour or two. This opportunity can fill up fast so sign up in advance. Remember to be respectful of the animals!

4. El Arco

One of the most popular spots on our list is El Arco, a picturesque part of the Land's End rock formation. This natural formation has developed a gorgeous shape that resembles an arch (hence the name). Waves regularly hit the arch, creating an amazing scenery. This is a common photo op spot for people to pose with the once in a lifetime backdrop. You must be in a boat to get the best view, and there are many tours and day trips that take a trip to this location. Whatever you do, don't forget to bring the camera. Also, try to visit Play Del Armor while you're in El Arco; it's right next door!

5.  Whale Watching

The beautiful beaches house a wide variety of marine life, but the largest of the waters is the whale. The Pacific Ocean in this area houses many types of whales. Experts will teach you everything you ever wanted to know about every species, and you can stand in awe at their size when you see them in their natural habitat. You may even get to hear the whales "singing" to each other. The most popular whale to find on a trip is the Humpback Whale. With any luck, you can see its unique body come out of the water and produce a mighty splash. While beautiful, these creatures are dangerous because of their size. Tour guides know exactly how far away to stay from the creatures to get a great view while still staying safe. If you get sea sick easily, sign up for a tour in the morning when the boats haven't stirred the water yet. Most tours will take about 2.5 hours, so you can schedule something for later in the day, too.

6. Go Under the Sea

If you think the beaches are beautiful, just wait until you see the wonders that live underneath the crystal blue waters while scuba diving. You'll find fish of every color as well as a variety of other marine life amongst beautiful corals. Instructors are available to lead tours of groups of every experience level. The more experienced you are, the deeper into the water you can go. As the water gets deeper, you can see wonders you wouldn't be able to see at shallower levels. If you don't want to go that far underneath the water, you can always snorkel. With a snorkel, you don't even have to use equipment to help you breathe, but you can still get a clear view. You can even find boats with clear floors so you can look without even getting wet.

Anyone of any experience can learn how to fish in this amazing environment, but there are multiple popular tournaments in the area for the professionals. You may even take fish back with you to eat. It's best to go fishing in the early morning before a lot of boats scare them all away. However, you may continue fishing throughout the day if the lines are biting.
