Three very cool all Inclusive resorts.
Trust me all inclusive resorts are not created the same, some may have great activities but crappie food or Nice rooms but terrible service. Take a look at three resorts where you can truly put away your wallet and enjoy your good fortune.
Beaches, Turks and Caicos.
When looking for an all inclusive family resort I want good food, a good beach and a kids club so i can enjoy them, that’s why i have chosen Beaches in the Turks and Cacaos islands. This resort is large with four separate villages from around the world, France, Italy, Key West and the Caribbean, located on a stunning 12 mile stretch of beach with surreal turquoise water that the Turks and Caicos islands are famous for.
Food? “Forget about it”! I doubt any one could eat their way through the twenty international restaurants in just a week (a great excuse to extend your stay.) Some of the more interesting are a British Pub, A Fifties style dinner, and Benihana style Teppan tables. If you like to indulge in cocktails while you are on vacation there are 12 bars from casual to sophisticated.
If your kids are like mine they will be in heaven at the 45,000 Sq Ft, water park, the Xbox Play Lounge or the kids arcade Trench Town. If you have teenagers they can shake their Booty at Liquid the ultra cool teen disco. Beaches is one of the only all inclusive family resorts to offer unlimited scuba diving at no extra cost, from beginners to advance. Beaches offer over 10 different water sports from water skiing to Laser Bug Boats again you would be hard pressed to do them all in a week. The list of land sports is long and facilities top of the line including a championship golf course with all green fees included.
Club Med Columbus Isle, The Bahamas.
Looking for all inclusive resorts Bahamas style has to offer A unique experience of interaction with the resort staff , the focus on activities and the communal sharing of tables at meal time gives you the feeling of group vacation instead of just a isolated family experience. Located on paradise island the colonial styled resort is located between two green zones and sits seaside on a ideal white sand beach. This resort is known for its diving and boasts over 20 diving spots with Canyons, drop offs, and beautiful Fauna and Flora on display. Local sea life includes turtles, barracudas, reef sharks, and Nassau groupers. Scuba lessons are given at all levels at a extra charge. If you are more into physical fitness the club offers a fitness and tennis school taught by experienced instructors as well as almost any land sport you can think of. I like to get my work out in the water so i usually attend the Windsurfing and sailing schools with group classes taught 6 days a week and are part of the all inclusive package.
If you want to get outside the resort the club offers some nice half and full day trips. Columbus Isle or San Salvador was the first landing spot of Christopher Columbus in 1492 , take the half day tour that follows in his footsteps and learn about the famous captains ambitious plans for the new world. Grab a bike and Visit the main town of Cockburn know for its extremely friendly people and awesome beaches. If you up for a full day of diving, lounging on the beach and a great meal sign up for the Lobster picnic.
Moon Palace Resort, Cancun.
I choose this resort for its party atmosphere, great nightly shows, entertainment, good for kids and an 18- hole Jack Nicolas golf course. Let me elaborate. Take a dip in one of the largest pools in Cancun that sits on the Caribbean sea, grab a cocktail at one of the 4 swim up bars , or get your groove on in the in room Jacuzzi, Nice choices right? I know what you are thinking “how am i going to get a break from my kids?” Drop them off at Cirque Dreams Kid Time where they will learn Explorabatics and get the feeling of being a real Circus performer. The Moon Palace really shines with its nightly entertainment. If you got the teens they will surely like the Flow Rider wave machine for surfing or Body Boarding and at night you can keep them busy at Wired the Teens Disco. Ok the kids are busy let’s sneak off to the nightly shows such as The Michael Jackson Tribute, Grease or the Fire Show. After hours boogie down at Noir the state of the art disco, and yes its included in the price.
How do you say Yummy in Spanish?
It doesn’t matter just sit down at one of the 15 international restaurants and start munching out. My faves The Steak House for a Porter House medium rare or eating pool side at Palapa Fragata for the grilled shrimp salad. If you are feeling extra lazy after doing a hard day of relaxing, order from the tasty room service menu. After dinner make it to the bar to enjoy the Caribbean breeze and live music.
There you have it three resorts all inclusive style that won’t send you to the poor house, leave you disappointed or hungry. Stay tuned for more of my favorite picks.
